I’ve been writing romance for (gulp) over twenty years, which feels both impossible and deeply on brand for someone who measures time in chapters, tropes, and “just one more scene", while still being a consumate procrastinator.

These days, my latest writing addiction is small-town instalove novellas where the heroes are protective, a little possessive, and entirely gone the second they fall. My heroines are the kind who push back, talk back, and still melt when the right man shows up for her in all the ways that matter.

If you like a little more bite to your romance, I also write paranormal romance under the name Sydney Somers.

No matter which genre I'm writing, you can usually expect enemies-to-lovers sparks, forced proximity, bone-deep chemistry, witty banter that keeps pace with the heat, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Off the page, I’m a professional daydreamer, chronic overthinker and busy mom to five young adults and one energetic golden retriever who's part demon. When I’m not writing, I’m usually juggling too many story ideas, binge-watching a new TV show and reading way past my bedtime.
